Stac Pollaidh scrambling

Stac Pollaidh is the most climbed mountain in the NW Highlands. It has a superb path all the way to the summit ridge, and is a relatively easy ascent for all ages at a mere 2000ft or so. But many fewer visitors to the mountain venture all the way along the narrow ridge to the summit at the western end - this involves some exposed scrambling and requires a good head for heights. Michael and Clive show the way in this image, with Loch Lurgainn in the glen beneath and Cul Beag beyond.
